A Ride on the Winter Train

Uncle Kenan came to town! and its been non-stop adventures. The highlight being riding the Georgetown Loop Train. We decided this would be our big holiday outing with the boys since Will loves trains but as it turns out Josh was just as excited. It’s so fun just to watch their faces as they take everything in. From hearing the choo, choo as the train pulled into the station to crossing big trestles, seeing Santa, eating snacks, and taking in the view we had a great time. It was extra special to go with friends. Somehow we didn’t get a picture of Will and his friend Tate but both boys were enthralled the entire time. Afterwards we headed up Guanella Pass to try out the ski attachments for the chariot. It was a little windy but the boys stayed warm and Dave got a workout in. It turned out to be a little too much of a good thing for Joshua though so we cut the hike short.

Everything looks like fun except for the chariot on skiis!
Will, donned in goggles and helmet, on his bike, still wins the prize!
    Grandma M.
