Birthday Boy and Surgery

Happy Third Birthday, Joshua!!! (I know we are posting a little late)

It’s been all about Paw Patrol around here lately so that was the theme for Joshua’s third birthday. We celebrated at Chuck E Cheese with just about half of Denver but had a great time. We followed up with cake and icecream at home with the big hit being a new firetruck. Joshua continues to be a feisty, fun bundle of energy that wants to do everything his older brother does and loves on his younger brother. He loves to construct things and is amazingly good at his Dinosaur Memory game.

January was a big month as Joshua also had to have minor surgery to have hernia he was born with repaired. I was very nervous for him but he was a champ about everything and in spite of a snow storm to contend with the day went well. He has bounced back easily and our biggest struggle has been trying to keep him quiet as the incision heals.

Thanks for the fun post! CC looked like an adventure with pure excitement by the boys. Great job, L, on the birthday cake! So thankful to God that surgery went well, and Joshua is all “mended!”
    Much Love, Grandma M
