Catching Up Fall Activities: Part 1

It’s been a packed Fall, full with many different activities, outings, visits, and two fast growing, energetic boys. Finally, we are just beginning to catch up on pictures now. Late October, Grandpa and Grandma B came out right in time to celebrate Linnea’s 35th birthday. We had a big party by our standards, complete with a pinata and all. Linnea and I were able to take advantage of the free baby-sitting and enjoyed a night out mini-golfing and some spicy-hot Thai food. We also sprung for a baby-sitter another night and enjoyed an adult outing only at the Breckenridge Brewery. Later we went on a much anticipated trip to the Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs. It was a blast and the kids’ slides at the water park were a big hit. Both boys loved the small pool the best. Both boys were also sent to tears when the big bucket in the adventure park surprised them releasing all its water. We adults had fun on the bigger rides, with the vertical tube drop being the most intense. Later, our little Spiderman and green dragon cleaned up on candy at all the tricker-treat stations. The day was complete after pizza, dancing, and bed time story-time.
