Catching Up

Finally I have had the chance to get a few pictures from 2015 posted! William is really growing and mobile. We’ve got out for a few short hikes. The key is to keep them short because after 4 hours or so, he is not a happy baby.

We’re still in the process of baby-proofing the house. I think he will be walking unassisted pretty quick. His new thing is to climb up and down the stairs.

We went skiing last Monday on Presidents day, just the two of us. The morning was excellent and the sun even made an appearance. My highlight was getting first tracks down the Ridge Cat. Linnea was pretty nervous about skiing down into the abyss but did great.

I’ve been helping out with the HAMS class this year as an assistant. We’ve been having a fun time, although I think this year they should rename the class to How to Survive Saint Mary’s Glacier, as the wind up there has been brutal for the outings.

We’ve had a pretty mild winter overall, even shorts weather every now and then!

We had a fun Valentines day, and William loved all the gifts. Mom even broke down and let him eat a sucker from me. No doubt he has the sweet tooth and loves ice-cream/frozen yogurt too!

Snow finally hit Denver this weekend. Maybe 12 inches by us. We bundled William up and got out for some long awaited fun in the snow.

Yep, we managed to tire him out–for maybe about 45 minutes.

Absolutely loved all the pics! Thanks so very much. (Glad the bibs fit, although I did wonder about the striped one not getting over his head.) I believe Beth has a similar pic of Brayden sitting on their table when he was Will’s age–such fun! Congrats to both of you on a successful skiing adventure! The snow looks beautiful, but a little treacherous. And, I loved the videos. But, I can’t figure out why you don’t put Will on his stomach on the sled. Poor child–all the snow falling on his face! But, he must have liked it–no crying! Dave, why did you put the brakes on, going down your hill? You sure did get a lot of snow! So fun to see you both enjoying your special son! Much Love, Mom

The last time Linnea went down without the brakes they crashed into the fence. We thought it scarred him for life so we’re just happy he got back in the sled. He wasn’t screaming so we left him on his back :). I think he was trying to figure out what the snowflakes were.
