After a busy week dealing with a dying fridge and skunk sprayed dog, we had a couple relaxing days this weekend hanging around town and enjoying some nice late summer weather. On Saturday, we finally made it up to the highly recommended Stauton State Park, just up 285 and about 25 mins from our house. The trails were great and we had fun scouting rock routes. Lots of bolted routes and not too many people. The park has a lot of acreage and something for everybody. We already have plans to come back.
We also had a chance to check out the new frisbee golf course recently put in by Denver Parks in the field across our street. It was a big hit with Maddy who has plenty of time to sniff everything while we look for our discs in the tall grass. William had a good weekend too and although is taking a lapse in his sleeping lately is eating very well and going to town on the solids. Tonight he was a happy baby and practicing his belly rolls.
