Baseball and work have kept us home since Memorial Day so we were really ready to get out of town for Father’s Day weekend. We managed to pick up a site to be near some friends and made the trek up to Glendo, Wyoming. It was our first time up in that area and we were happy to spend time with the Kapkes. In spite of some rain and wind everyone had a great time. Kevin took Dave, Will and Josh out on their boat for some big lake fishing. They were successful! and we enjoyed fried fish. 🙂 Ask Dave for the fishermen tales. We also spent time biking, hiking and playing on the beach. Dave got more than he bargained for on one of his rides and I was also jumping more rocks than I’m totally comfortable on. Luckily the hiking and beach time were just the right balance for relaxing. It was a blast splashing and playing in the water with Holly and all the kids. So thankful for fun with friends and dads who love their families!
