Just a Day Hike

No 14ers this weekend, but for Maddy it was the day she had been waiting for. I couldn’t take any more of the moping around and finally got her up to the mountains on a short day hike up to a lake. Just like that, she was in her element running around, rolling in the the grass, shaking in the water, and of course keeping a close eye on those marmots. Linnea had her first soccer game today with her club team that she is helping coach. School starts next week so the summer of fun is finally winding down to an end.
