We had a fun Thanksgiving with Haveman’s and Mom and Dad. After work on Wednesday, we made the 11 hour drive down to Tulsa. Wednesday, we ate a lot of food, played lawn games (Kubb was a big hit), soccer, and just relaxed. The weather was great and probably close to 70 degrees outside. On Friday, we made a day trip down to Robber’s cave. We had fun exploring the caves and doing some rock climbing. The limestone was perfect for climbing. Brayden and Becca even tried it out and both made it to the top! Later we set up another top-rope on a more difficult pitch, rappelled down and attempted to climb back up. For once, I was able to out climb Linnea who’s arms and legs were just a little too short. Of course, I had Ron belaying me which gave some extra horse-power up. Saturday was another relaxing day filled with bike riding, golf (oops, I forget to tack a picture of the score card), bowling, and ice-cream to top everything off. Now, we are back in Golden, preparing for the work week. We are so thankful for such a fun family and opportunities to spend time together doing the things we love.
